Snowy Swing

I noticed this chair swing after a winter snowfall. I liked how the snow had begun to melt and created shapes like wet spaghetti - not to mention the contrast between the black wrought-iron swing and the (somewhat) fresh white snow

Salt Lake City & County Building

The City & County Building in Salt Lake City, Utah is one of the most iconic and recognizable buildings in the state. Construction began in 1891 and was not completed until December of 1894. It is a wonderful example of Romanesque architecture.

The photograph below was made with a Canon Powershot S95. I took several images of the building in RAW format and sis some minor adjustments in Lightroom. Other than that the image is virtually straight from the camera.
